Valley Ranch Entertainment District*

New Caney, Texas

The Entertainment District of the large Valley Ranch development in far Northeast Houston is a mixed-use and retail development that eventually will become a walkable epicenter for bars, restaurants, and other entertainment in the region. Situated between the existing bookends of an existing movie theatre and the Valley Ranch Pavilion, the District connects both with a lively main street of shops, office space, multifamily and fitness center. The master plan focused on several strategic phases. The first, a “Main Street” design includes a central green adjacent to shops office and apartments and townhouses. Incorporated in the mix are several parking garages to take all of the normal load of traffic but also the Pavilion capacity as well.
