San Felipe Hotel-Office STUDY

The Galleria/Uptown district of Houston is an office, hotel and retail mix organically grown over a 40-year period. This proposal was to provide a tall tower combining hotel, restaurant and office space. The 46- story tower was designed to create a dominate presence in the eastern edge of the district. With separate entries for hotel, ballroom and office functions the four-level base faces all directions. The 250-room hotel stacks on top of the 700,00 square foot office building with restaurants at the top and base of the tower. The project was designed in partnership with MCS.
