East River Multifamily Prototype*

When Midway Companies purchased property along Buffalo Bayou near downtown Houston fror a mixed-use community their vision was to create a master planned, walkable district using a modular approach. Offices, restaurants, multifamily residences and amenities would be designed within a global set of parameters. The design of the multifamily structures must be prototypical in nature to “Lego block” the individual future projects for the greatest flexibility. The aesthetics reflect the Ship Channel context as modern day warehouses.
