The Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) has major office and research facilities in the Houston area. The master plan for its Sugar Land campus started small as an addition to their existing suburban research facility. By enlivening their existing detention pond to create a central lake the plan can grow around it, phase by phase. With a promenade surrounding the lake each new phase has water access and views.
