The first all interior hospital designed for New Century Hospital was created to meet market demand for a more integrated 30-day birthing process and new baby care after birth. As such the private hospital has a separate section for birthing ad another for pediatric care. This prototype program is located within the government funded Suzhou Children’s Hospital. The hospital contains 40 birthing beds, 25 children’s beds, an oversized NICU, full clinic and radiology, an operating suite and lounge/dining areas. The operating suite and mechanical floor were added to the top of the building because of existing structural conditions. The hospital has been in operation since 2015.
