The Fifth Ward of Houston is becoming a gentrified community as land prices rise in the area. This project tries to incorporate 220 multifamily units and a retail/coworking development within the shell of an existing church building and its grounds. The design is intended to be a light filled filigree of glass and metal to contrast with the stone of the ancient church building.
